1. I have a completely unfounded obsession with the Kennedy's. I really don't know why, but if there is a history special on them or anything pertaining to them on, I'm in for the night ;). Maybe 'cause I have an odd obsession with all things tragic.
2. Whenever people make fun of Lost or say they hated the finale a little piece of me dies. It came on at a very emotional time in my life and the themes that it is about honestly helped me through a lot. Turns out Lost is excellent therapy. Haters to the left.
3. The Killers are my favoritest band and I get really excited when other people listen to them too, and bummed when all they really know is Mr. Brightside. Not that I don't love that song, but they have soo many others that speak to me more lyrically. Mr. Brightside will forever and always remind me of Summer '05.
4. In sixth or seventh grade I watched the Fellowship of the Ring every. single. day. Literally. I woke up, started it, got ready for school, came home from school and finished it. Now I only watch it like..once a year, but it still holds a soft spot in my heart.
5. I think people think I'm much smarter than I actually am.
6. My sister and brother are two of my best friends :) I realize now that that's not always the case. I enjoy hanging out with them and going to concerts and movies with them. They both make me laugh till I cry and handle standing in my shadow reasonably well ;) Not everyone can be the favorite!
7. I know Harry Potter pretty much better than anything else in my life. Don't judge! I've read the books more times than I count and everytime I love it more and more. It kills me a little knowing I never got my letter :(
8. I've known my best friend since I was 2! I can't remember a time of my life without her in it and I hope it stays that way :) We have some pretty awesome stories and adventures and although I can talk a lot of shit she has helped me through a lot and done a lot for me for which I will always be appreciative.
9. I think only the people in my family understand the true significance of the phrase "Turtle Power" but I still smile everytime I get a text from one of them that says it <3
10. I love my family. I feel like it took going to college to truly appreciate them. Even though we have some ridiculous traditions that we were embarassed to carry on for as long as we did (I'm pretty sure once they started recruiting us to dress as Santa we should have ended it ;) ), I always look back on them and laugh and realize I'm extremely fortunate to have them. After talking to a lot of people about what their familes do for the holidays I never realized how badass we were and how many memories we have together!
11. I have always called Santa "Ho Ho." Apparently this also is not common. It's just what he was always referred to in our house.
12. I'm a dog person. I like cats, but they don't like me back. When I'm around them my body pretty much starts shutting down. Why would you want a pet that doesn't always want your love and affection? One of my favorite parts of going home is walking in the door and seeing how excited Fred is to see me! I love my pup :)
13. I don't know why I didn't declare biology as my major straight off the bat. We were clearly meant to be.
14. I've only left Ohio twice :( Once sophomore year of high school to go to Disney with band, and then last year to go to Chicago. I wouldn't mind spending an extended amount of time in Chicago, I've thought about applying to grad schools there.
15. I'm terrified to graduate college.
16. At least one member of my family has owned a trailer in Marble Head Since before until my senior year in high school when we sold ours. I miss it :(( Some of my best childhood memories are on the lake.
17. I feel my eyes are overly moist. I cry when I laugh a LOT and really just a gentle breeze makes 'em tear up lol.
18. I get called Pam so often that I have responded to it a couple times in a class then felt really awkward afterwards.
19. I fear I may be a hoarder. I have at least 10 memorie boxes stashed under my bed at home that I can't part with. I guess I'm sentimental.
20. I am very trusting. I'll trust you before I know you but if you fuck me over you'll pretty much never get it back. Sorry.
21. I know I'm a pushover, and I'm okay with that.
22. Damn it this is long. ummm..There are several philosophies I believe in. Everything happens for a reason. Good things happen to good people. Nothing is irreversible.
23. My biggest turn off is pessism. I can not handle debbie downers.
24. I love the 1920s -1970. It's my favorite period to learn about in history. Roaring twenties seemed badass, and as much as the depression sucked it's interesting. If you don't love learning about WWII there is probably something wrong with you. 50's are my favorite decade, and then the JFK/Civil Rights stuff of the 60's I love to learn about. I blame my love of history on my sophomore history teacher. He was awesome. Not to mention all the stories Amber has taught me and the trivia my Dad spews out all the time :) Oh yeah, I also love the Romanovs.
25. I love music! All genres. I don't think I would be able to walk to class without my jams. If the right song comes on I like to picture myself walking in a movie during one of those montagy scenes where the character is just lost in thought or something. I find this perfectly normal.
26. I never write lowercase r's. They always, always, always have to be capital, even if it's in the middle of a word.
27. The only details of my wedding that I know are 3 songs that I want played at some point during the reception.
28. I've had a stuffed animal pig since the day I was born named Piggy (original, I know). It's all his fault that pigs are my favorite animal.
29. Middle school was the worse period of my life, until 2010 came along. If I could ever erase an entire year from my life it would be that one.
30. I'm am terrified of fire! and ice. polar opposites but equally frightening.
these may be edited. or moved to facebook. i dunno.

Gah!
Why is G so cute! Hung out with him Friday with CA and the singer in his band AL (Why must everyone's name start with an A?!!) and we had a good time. He is definetely shorter than I am, but the biggest issue is the PC thing. If only I had a car....
either way, I'm excited for his concert Sunday...If only A weren't coming up this weekend ;).
LOST shirt came in, it's a little too big :( but I think I can still rock it.
Also, it's beautfiulllll today. GORGEOUS!!! It makes me really happy.
Oh, and my ass still hurts from the beating it took on that Genetics test. Just sayin'.
Hung out with C the other day and he bought me Starbucks. I was telling him about G and he was getting jealous, it was kind of cute. Oh C. Still trying to figure out how to get out of A meeting him this weekend...

It worries me...
...how little I care about this genetics test that I have at 11:30 today.
Like forril. Need to really step up my game for the final.
UPDATE as of April 7th at 3:37 p.m. : My ass still hurts from that beating it took on that test.
Also, I really hope the LOST shirt I ordered online comes in today. I am in LOVE with it. Bonus? It was only 9.99. IF that isn't a steal than I don't know what is!!

The Flaw.
I'm begining to think that THE flaw is MY flaw.
What is THE flaw you ask?
Why, it's simple. It's the thing I use about other people as an excuse as to why things wouldn't work out between us in a relationship. Confused? Let me give you an example:
C: Lives in another state, too immature, in a relationship, likes to create awkward situations etc.
K: too clingy, lives in another state, always always always has to be right, hairy as a bear
D : too serious, smokes, doesn't like harry potter
B: Man whore
A: always thinks he's right, likes to use his knowledge as superiority, very critical of others
Let the record show: I LOVE all the above mentioned. Except B.
Anyway
Get the picture?
I know, I know, it's awful! I don't mean it in a judgemental way. I love that C is immature, and the fact that he makes situations awkward is just what he does, and in most cases it can be entertaining. These just so happen to be reasons I feel like it wouldn't work long term. make sense?
Good. Moving on,
New boy, G. I'm looking for the flaw AND I CAN'T FIND IT. yet. While normally, this should be exciting, instead I find myself looking harder for it. The only things I can come up with is he's shorter ( I know, I'm really pushing it) and he lives an hour or so away.
That's it! and those barely even register on the scale of flaw. Perhaps a combined reading of .000001 out of 10. And it's only that high because the distance thing could be difficult due to my failure as a human being existence (meaning no car).
Maybe once we hang ot more I'll find it. He's coming up this weekend, and then next weekend is his concert that I'm going to. Maybe the flaw will rear it's ugly head. Maybe.
Oi vey. There seriously may just be something wrong with me.
On a good note though: I am both not dead and not deaf. phew. I was nervous last night.
Speaking of last night, I went out with roomie A and our friends KK and I to a pizza place in town. It was both delicious and a hilariously fun night! Then they started talking about a "shock video" they remembered from their middle school days called two girls one cup. They had me watch it. I all at once wanted to gauge out my own eyes, and puke. I seriously watched maybe 1 second of it. Couldn't even handle.
basically, if you are ever presented with a video entitle twogirlsonecup and are asked to watch, punch the person in the tooth and run for the sake of your precious, innocent eyes in the opposite direction.
xoxo
aw! G just sent me a cute message on facebook! damn it!!
update: 4/7/2010 at 9:04 a.m. I may have found some flaw contenders, but we'll see what becomes of them.

WARNING: GRAPHIC CONTENT ENSUES
So...this may be a farewell post.
I was cleaning my ears with a q-tip, trying to keep up on my hygiene, ya know, when by accident I may or may not have pushed it a little too far and for about a milisecond i felt a jolt of pain, then noticed blood on my q-tip.
BLEEDING EARS ARE A SURE SIGN OF DEATH.
So, just you know, I love you all. Gross pictures to prove it (I'll keep this one small because it's nasty):
If you don't hear from me in...say a week. Alert the 5-0. I don't want my corpse to rot too long before the photogs come.
xoxo
update as of 1:26 a.m. April 5th : still alive

Failure is in the eye of the beholder.
So the ONE day that I totally kick ass on my personal finance homework is the time that he chooses to postpone the deadline. Oi vey. Oh well, at least it's done and over with, huzzah!!
Also, lab practical had some hiccups but overall didn't go as poorly as I suspected. Yay!!
But on to the er, more important news. Something that I had been thinking about for awhile now and finally today had the courage to set the plan in motion.
I talked to my advisor today about at least taking next semester off from school. I need to make money, and get recharged. I find myself not caring enough to get my shit done and dreading going to all my classes. I just feel like this isn't how I should feel a year before I graduate.
We'll see where the road takes it. I do definetely plan on going back, but the timeline isn't set in stone yet. I'm still enrolled in all my classes for next semester and I have until the the first couple of weeks of classes to withdraw completely from them....but the more I think about it, the more I know this is what I need to do. :(
xoxo
p.s. April Fool's Day!!!!! ;P
y'all know I love school more than pretty much anything! I'm actually incredibly excited about next semester and I'm trying to make even more classes fit into my schedule! My time here is dwindling down :(

I'm Breezy
TWO cookies to whoever can tell me what the title to this post is a reference to. It's a trickier one, but still feasible.
So, basically I've been uber (I wish I knew how to make umlats? above U's. Those are so cool.) swamped with work lately (and indescribably lazy) I haven't posted much. Lo siento mi amors! I think I'm going to have a rather large update tomorrow. yay! I actually have a couple posts planned.
Snow white is on tv right now! I haven't seen this movie in ages! crazy.
Anyway, I have to keep this breezy because : (Choose the BEST answer) (I always hate these questions on tests. If there is more than one right answer than how can you say it's wrong because it's not the BEST?!)
a. I'm cooking dinner
b. I'm working on personal finance homework
c. I'm watching Snow White
d. I'm lazy
If you chose b. Congratulations!!! you win a to be determined prize. (don't contact me, I'll contact you.)
Hope all is going splendidly :) It's almost the weekend!!!!
Also, I have my O. Chem lab practical tomorrow!!! Ahhhhh!!!! Wish me luck! I'm gonna need it....
P.S. the reference from the title is to the Friends episode "The One Where No One is Ready" where Monica leaves a message on Richard's answering machine after they break up and is trying to sound "breezy" but says "I'm breezy" in her message therefore negating the breeziness of the situation. You follow? Good.
