Winter Cleaning?
I'm trying to make room in my closet. Not necessarily for more things (Lord knows I don't need any more....not that that will stop me ;) ), but just to, ya know, have room. So far I've gone through my shirts and cardigans and hoodies and have removed....5 things. Yes. That number is a little lackluster. I am indeed aware of this fact.

Looking Back...
I love how many of my old posts are about "G". It's funny how much changes over time. Not that I don't like the kid, but he is sooo frustrating and when I went back I don't see how I didn't notice it earlier! I guess we're blinded by our infatuations with people. How you can be the one pushing for a relationship with a person, and then being the one to end it. We are flawed creatures that much I know, but that's what makes life interesting :)
There's a quote from MadMen that I've always liked that Don said,
"We're flawed because we want so much more. We're ruined because we get these things and wish for what we had."
This is paraphrased, I'm too lazy to look up the exact quotation, but you get the gist. He's a wise man that Mr. Draper ;)
Life moves on. Lesson Learned.

Another Short One
Totes did way worse on my Biometry exam than I thought. Just put it on my tab.
My roommates and I have started a "Selfish Cunt" Tally Board. Basically you get a tally everytime you're selfish. I have the least amount with 6, majority of which are highly questionable ;). Just throwin' that out there.
This looked better in person. Promise ;)
Gotta go read the Importance of Being Earnest now, wish me luck!!

Hola, Mis Amigos!
Long to no see, eh? sorry about that...I don't have a ton of time to update right now (sorry, school is lame and time consuming, currently trying to save the Javan Rhino, no biggie) BUT I come baring gifts! Several small posts! (And you claim I'm not a giver!)
This was my outfit the other day! My key to fall/winter is to layer like a fool. It also helps becuase currently my apartment has no gas, therefore no heat until Tuesday. To say it is a bit frigid in here is an understatement.
I was afraid you guys wouldn't be able to see the shoulder pads, which are obviously my favorite part of this outfit. I feel like such a college kid in it.

Week in Review
So my first week of classes back is ALMOST done!!! I only have Stats today from 2:30-3:20. Not too shabby. Here's a rundown of my classes so far:
Stats 2110: My prof seems like a really cool guy, and the class seems really interesting. I'm just ecstatic to be taking a stats class honestly. Hopefully this doesn't bite me in the but.
Phil 1010: Dropping this class. a little too....I dunno, out there for me I guess. I feel constantly hated on in it because I'm a scientist lol
Biol 4090?: Principles of Biometry (basically Stats applied to Biology) LOVE this class so far. Professor is awesome and once again, it's stats. WOOT
Lit 2010: I think I'm really going to like this class. My prof is really nice and the class is really good at discussions. The books we have to read are pretty sweet too. Oh yeah, and I've already read most of them ;)
PopC2200: Intro to Folklore/Folklife. I love my prof. Really funny, very committed to his subject. He said the first couple weeks are slow because he only covers vocab which i was starting to see in class yesterday, but he also said we're going to be looking at ourselves and our heritage a lot which I think is pretty awesome! Pumped!
Biol 4???: Conservation Bio. Taking this class with my friend AND my prof is adorable and SUPER nice. Like, ridiculously nice. He made us come up with our own grading scale.
And THAT'S what my semester looks like so far! Not too shabby, eh?

The End is Near...
** I will work Harry Potter references into any and every post that I can.
So today marked my first day of classes! I had Philosophy 101 and Principles of Biometry. Both of my professors seem extremely nice and laid back so I'm very excited about that.
My biometry class just made me realize how much I would just love to minor in stats though, so I'm really really really gonna work hard at getting as many classes in as I can before I leave. Which means trying to get into that class that I dropped again....
Clothes plan is doing well today! I wore a shirt I used to love but haven't worn in awhile, and realized I still love it! She's a keeper :)

New Beginings
hee hee, long time no see! My fault, I know it!
Anyway, as you can see by my title, this school year is going to be all about new beginings.
Starting with clothes!!!
I have a clothes problem. I can admit that. It's a problem though that is both costly monetarily and to the health of my body and mind. Clothes are piled all over the place in my room to the point that I can't even sleep on my bed anymore. I don't want to sleep on that couch one more night!!! Everytime I just look at the room I feel overwhelmed and get irritable.
So, when getting ready to move into my new apartment, I tried to pack on the lighter side. I seriously think I left about half of my wardrobe at home! (Granted, this still means I brought a lot.) It wasn't even the funky stuff I decided to keep back either! There were some pretty painful cuts. I'm hoping to take a lot out of this though.
I tried to bring some stuff I haven't really worn in awhile. I think the reason I sometimes gravitate to the same things is because I have SO much stuff that I just go with stuff I know I like. There's TOO much of a selection. So this will be their time to shine. If I still don't wear them, or realize I don't really like the way they look or find it's hard to incorporate them into my wardrobe then away they must go.
I think the best way to incorporate some of my funkier pieces is to pair them with really cute solid staples to balance out the look. So I want to try to experiment with this a bit as well.
I also want to really work on organization. I actually am pretty organized but I think I need to focus more on maintaining it. I let things get kind of chaotic then decide it's time to crack down and organize the hell out stuff.
I also want to work on following through with the ideas and projects I have in my head. I think if I actually do them and complete them it'll free up some space to come up with even more projects! I have so many I want to do right now I feel likes they're all backed up. Maybe focus on one project a week?
Continue reading!!! I got The Help, and the first Hunger Games book from my lovely coworkers at Dawson, not to mention all the books I already want to read, so I want to really try to keep that up. I WILL reach my 35 books benchmark this year!!
I know there's more, I'll keep updating this as I think of them. It'll be interesting when the school year is over to see how much of this I actually went through on.

Now...just have to get through this Personal Finance final tomorrow and Art History on Friday.
Turns out me and GBF1 are both missing some notes from Art History so hopefully together we can pull out notes together and have something....hehe
Plans Friday have been postponed to an unforseen date :(. At least G texted to make sure that it was goign to definetely be rescheduled. Oi Vey. I knew I had too much banking on it and was looking forward to it too much. Damnit all to hell lol

But My Good Friends is All I Need
I feel like such a college kid sitting here in the library with my laptop studying Genetics for my final tomorrow.
I even have my binder and highlighter out, this shit is about to get serious.
It's baffling to me that the semester is over come Friday...I can't even handle! In just 5 days I will be a senior in college. Then I have to be an adult :(
In other news...Osama Bin Laden is dead. Crazyyy shit! Me and the roomie were sitting in our living room, chowing on some AMAZING Myle's pizza (chicken with pesto and artichokes. YUMMO) watching a pretty intense celebrity apprentice when NBC scrolls at the bottom of the screen that Obama is going to be addressing the nation shortly.
Our initial impression was that it was going to be bad news. (Roomie was pretty pissed that it cut into Apprentice and he couldn't see who got sent home lol. He's so precious.)
You Brits can have your Royal Wedding, we got Osama Bin Laden's body. ;)
but I did enjoy the Royal Wedding.

Your Confusions got me so confused
Weekend with A was actually very successful! Here is a rundown of our Tolkien approved, Ke$ha insprired weekend :
Friday :
A arrives after a ridiculous wind storm. Too intense for words. I thought I was going to blow away. I show her the apartment and fill her in on my confusions with the whole G situation and we catch up until we have dinner with W and I at Red Lobster! I got shrimp linguini alfredo. It was DELISH! and those biscuits. Gurll I could eat 'em by the bushel. Someone the subject of "Things that make Nicky gag" came up over dinner, and I proceeded to, but that's alright. Cheddar biscuits make everything better. I also got the opportunity to take an awesome Lost picture. It was beyond epic.
That night we went back to my apartment and started playing with Microsoft Anna and leaving people voicemails. Hilarious. some of our best?

"I love the feel of nice cool saxphone between my firy loins in the morning sunlight. It drives me to the point of physical exhaustion. oh. yeah. yeah. so cold. i'm cumming"
"I will never forget the night i woke up and you were molesting me. Never before have i so enjoyed being forcefully penetrated by another man."
all in all, a success :)
Saturday :
Went to Happy Badger because it's an awesome little store and I knew A would enjoy it. Talked to the lady there and she was so funny. Talking about how she framed a card she owns in her shop of some tree people as a gift to the trees in her front yard. Such a little hippie. Also found out they did Tarot readings so we scheduled readings for Sunday.
Then I took her to KA Kart to meet the boys without really meeting them. She got introduced by there wasn't enough time for people to really communicate and hate each other. Perfect!
Then we went to this antique mall in Maumee that I had wanted to go to. It was HUGE and had lots of entertaining things. One of them being a vintage embalming machine. Nasty. lol and some really creepy looking dolls. Had lunch at Cracker Barrel (a.k.a. Chicken Boquet) and it was both delicious, an insanely large amount of food, and dirt cheap. Possibly my new favorite restaurant. So good!!! We also had Logan as a server. He was tall. And cute. Bonus!
Then we went to Target, and walked out with nothing! That deserves a prize.
After that we went to WalMart to pick up materials for dying eggs! I also scored an ah - mazing bra. Forril, I'm in love. Then we rented the Godfather - turned out to be a really good movie! Who knew!
We decided we wanted to have Ke$ha inspired eggs, so we found an awesome kit that totally made our dreams come true.
Sunday:
Went to go get our tarot cards read, found out it costs 20 bucks for 15 minutes!! we decided to escape through the cafe entrance instead. it was awesome.
Then we went on a little nature walk with the roomie :). We discussed childhood memories, and it brought about many scaring youtube videos later. Most notably: the letter people, Mr. N. Look it up if you dare.
So then finally the night when we go to see G's band. First we have lunch with AfC, R and finally meet D. We have a good time and everyone seems to hit it off. Then we go to downtown to have a beer before going to the venue. G's band plays and they were really impressive! They sounded really good and I like their music a lot. AND I got to talk to him. Seemed highly successful. AND HE'S NOT SHORTER THAN ME. i think i wept tears of joy. we are seriously like almost the exact same height, A said he's like a centimeter or so taller. Huzzah!!
HOWEVER. Everytime i start talking to G for awhile, AfC pulls me away and tells me he doesn't think it's a good idea, and he believe that G would cheat which I honestly would never ever imagine. uggh. Granted I don't know where AfC's agenda is. Even though he has a girlfriend i know he likes me...so maybe that has something to do with it?
I HATE THIS GAME.
either way, G is coming up may 6th again. we'll see what happens.

After that we went to WalMart to pick up materials for dying eggs! I also scored an ah - mazing bra. Forril, I'm in love. Then we rented the Godfather - turned out to be a really good movie! Who knew!
We decided we wanted to have Ke$ha inspired eggs, so we found an awesome kit that totally made our dreams come true.
Sunday:
Went to go get our tarot cards read, found out it costs 20 bucks for 15 minutes!! we decided to escape through the cafe entrance instead. it was awesome.
Then we went on a little nature walk with the roomie :). We discussed childhood memories, and it brought about many scaring youtube videos later. Most notably: the letter people, Mr. N. Look it up if you dare.
So then finally the night when we go to see G's band. First we have lunch with AfC, R and finally meet D. We have a good time and everyone seems to hit it off. Then we go to downtown to have a beer before going to the venue. G's band plays and they were really impressive! They sounded really good and I like their music a lot. AND I got to talk to him. Seemed highly successful. AND HE'S NOT SHORTER THAN ME. i think i wept tears of joy. we are seriously like almost the exact same height, A said he's like a centimeter or so taller. Huzzah!!
HOWEVER. Everytime i start talking to G for awhile, AfC pulls me away and tells me he doesn't think it's a good idea, and he believe that G would cheat which I honestly would never ever imagine. uggh. Granted I don't know where AfC's agenda is. Even though he has a girlfriend i know he likes me...so maybe that has something to do with it?
I HATE THIS GAME.
either way, G is coming up may 6th again. we'll see what happens.

Sorry
Sorry all of my posts have been G related recently. (This one is not about to break that habit).
I'm on a downward swing again. Ughh. I hate this game!! lol
He texts me after his concert thing (which the update on that is randomly after this one) and we talk. The next day i text him. and now NOTHING. for like 3 days.
whyyyy do i care so much? and now i keep going over everything that happened at the show and thinking maybe something changed? but if i'm realistic with myself i don't believe it...humph.
should it have to be this much work? this may 6th is going to be a make or break it point i feel. got a lot riding on it. fuck.

I hate
how one thing can make me totally second guess myself and be self conscious about this whole G situationnnn.
He accepted a friend request and or requested the friendship of some chick named Jess and I automatically hate this bitch lol.
After some quick facebook stalking though this is what I've been able to uncover :
I have lots of guy friends and there's nothing to them. And her taste in music is questionable to alright.
I'm actually glad for A to be coming up now to distract me from overthinking this shit way too much.
EDIT: and now he changed his profile picture. what if it's for herrrr :(
EDIT EDIT: this bitch is nothing. heh heh. just overly thinking things! :)

- she has sea of bears (G's band) listed in her music she listens to but of the members of the band she's only friends with G, meaning this must be how she found out about them. bitch.
- she is going to the concert on sunday, however I think this is where I may have the advantage since I will be sitting with all of G's besties. what now, whore.

GAHHHHH! Continued...
I repeat: Why is G so cuteeeeeee.
I was lying in bed last night, minding my own business when I got one of my texts from Facebook about a notification. So I check it says "G___ B___ has written on your status". Flailing commences.
My status had been pertaining to a certain song I had just discovered and fell in love with (Electric Six - Synthesizer) and of course, since we are personality twins, he not only knew about the song, but he's seen the band 17 times!! Crazyyy.
So I responded to his comment saying that I was impressed that he knew it and he FB chatted me right away saying that he had that as his status not too long ago! and he said it was badass that I knew them and that next time they're in cleveland we have to go see them! Then he asked if I liked going to shows and asked what i'd been to.
Of course I first admitted to The Killers, to which he responded that he met The Killers before they released hot fuss and that the drummer is awesome!!! I could have just died of jealousy.
Then I said I saw Brand New which he said he was jealous of. Then I said I had some pretty embarassing ones when I was little...and I admitted that my first concert was Hanson.
So then he said I could have a free pass, since I was little. I said I'd need another...but I wouldn't relinquish what for (ahem ahem GC ahem ahem) (even though that one isn't as bad) (I will come to you is still a good jam as well). ANYWAY I told him i couldn't keep divulging my deepest darkest secrets so he said he couldn't come up with anything as bad since he didn't start going to shows until high school, but that when he was little his favorite band was the spice girls. hahahaha.
to which i replied that i had teh barbie dolls. to which he responded " I refuse to let this slide into a debate on who's the bigger spice girls fan." and then he went on to add that he owned spice world on vhs somewhere. hahaha.
then he started talking about his band after i asked him about it and was telling me about what some of their songs were about. There's a love story told from the perspective of jack the ripper, a song about over fishing and wasting resources, materialism and vanity, cleveland/cleveland sports lol. random, but fantastic.
overall highly entertaining ugh. why must you live far away. oh well, more motivation for a car this summer
